On Saturday morning, Green Brook Volunteer Fire Company celebrated the 75th Anniversary (1948-2023) of The Christmas Star being raised and displayed at Fire House # 2 on top of the Watchung Mountains. Thanks to Dunellen Defender Fire Company #1 and Township of Green Brook Department of Public Works for thier assistsnce. Thanks to Luca’s Washington Ave. Deli & Market for providing breakfast for this event. The Christmas Star will be illuminated on December 1st for the Holiday Season.
To celebrate, we have created a Challenge Coin to mark this historic event in our Fire Company history.
Coins are $20.00 cash with local pickup. Pickup avaliable every Monday night at GBFD Fire House, 115 Greenbrook Rd Green Brook NJ 08812 between 7 PM and 8:30 PM.
